Nate Doss brews ‘Understable’ IPA with Fiddlehead Brewing Company

When he isn’t on the disc golf course, three-time World Champion Nate Doss is tapping into his hobby as a homebrewer. Doss has worked with Fiddlehead Brewing Company in Vermont to create the Understable session IPA. The disc golf themed Understable will be a very limited release and will make it’s debut at the Fall Fest as part of this weekend’s Green Mountain Championships A-Tier in Smugglers’ Notch, Vermont.

The Fall Fest looks like a great event tied into the A-Tier event with live music, food, beer, and more planned for people in the area. Doss and his wife, Valarie Jenkins, visited the Fiddlehead brewery to talk about their Understable IPA and his experience being a homebrewer.

The Understable Can Release Party will be this Friday, September 18 from 6-10 p.m.

  1. Very cool to see a pro Disc Golfer really diving into the brewing world. There’s not a lot of money to be made in Disc Golfing at the moment, but to be able to brew for a living and go disc golf the same day is a goal in my mind. Keep up the good work ATDG!
